Osteopath - Huddersfield Halifax West Yorkshire Registered Osteopaths, specialist osteopathic treatment of low back and neck pain
Tim qualified from the British School of Osteopathy (London) in 1989. He practised in a sports medicine clinic initially, and has been in Huddersfield since 1993. His specific clinical interests are whiplash related injuries, intervertebral disc injuries and low back pain. Tim has been involved in research at Huddersfield University over the last 13 years, publishing in medical journals, specific topics; adolescent back pain, spinal manipulation for back pain, whiplash treatment and patient education. He is a member of the National Council for Osteopathic Research (NCOR), which oversees and supports research in osteopathy. He has also recently been elected onto the General Osteopathic Council, the Government body that regulates the osteopathic profession. Tim is at present working part-time for a PhD degree looking at the social and political influences on osteopathy. He is married to Kathy and they have three children, he tries to keep fit by running and climbing.
