Acupuncture is a medical healing system in which very fine needles are inserted into locations on the body called acupuncture points. It has been practised in China for at least 2000 years and has developed into a detailed and complete system of health promotion. It focuses on improving the overall well being of the patient, addressing specific symptoms and any underlying reason for those symptoms. What does acupuncture treat?
